My Art Classes and Courses are designed to take you step-by-step through a subject allowing you to progress at your own pace. Most are suitable for absolute beginners and those wanting to re-learn the basics, with all courses recommended for artists wishing to improve their craft and add to their skill levels. Each week I teach the group techniques, tips and tricks before spending time with each person, helping you to improve and enjoy your own creativity. I like to encourage everyone to find their own signature style so you feel inspired and confident to try out different techniques and find the ones that work for you. Materials are not generally included but there are always some to try and a list of what you need is provided on each course page. Courses need to be paid in full by the start of the course, cheques are cashed one week before the start date and if you wish to cancel your place on a course at this time, a refund will only be given if your place can be filled by somebody else. If your place cannot be filled I regret, no refund will be given but as a goodwill gesture you will receive £10 off your next course. If you happen to miss a session once the course has started, for whatever reason, then you can come to any Artynoon in lieu. Most classes include illustrated handouts as aide memoires and all include unlimited teas, coffees and home-made, healthy cake!
Please click on each course for more detailed information including course outline, materials list, student galleries and comments.

For each course there is a list of recommended materials. For brushes I particularly recommend Rosemary & Co. - a small family business who have been making high quality brushes for over 35 years. I have asked them to put together a basic set of brushes for those just starting out (see above). Please ask to see the catalogue and the brushes I use as they are all great quality at reasonable prices and they last!
